Book Music and Lyrics
The workshop The facilitator Applying/contact
 Applying / contact

To apply, please submit a CV and two samples of your dramatic work, up to 10 pages each, one of which should be, in some sense, comedic. This is not to say we expect you to be ‘funny’, but rather to gauge the temperature and mix of the group. Email these in Word or pdf format to david@bookmusicandlyrics.com or mail them to:

David James
24 River Street
London, EC1R 1XN.

The deadline is 10 January, 2010. The workshop will be capped at 35 members.

We expect you to apply for the entire year’s workshop: new members will not be admitted in September. The fee will be £160 for the spring term and £140 for the autumn. As commitment is considered more important than revenue at this point, each member who shows up for 75% of the classes and fully participates will be refunded 50% of the fee at the end of the term.

Any writer from around the country who can fund his or her own transportation is welcome to apply. Disabled writers are also welcome. We will be meeting in a fully accessible facility, although, at this point, we do not have the funding to guarantee signers or support workers. We are, however, attempting to raise additional funds for this, so please feel free to apply.
