Caroline joined the back office of Cameron Mackintosh Limited (CML) after graduating and developed a taste for the various legal aspects surrounding theatre production. She subsequently qualified as an intellectual property solicitor with specialist law firm Theodore Goddard.
After a break to raise her children, she returned to CML as sole in-house lawyer and then moved on to work for The Old Vic as General Counsel, where she was privileged to witness first-hand the transforming effect that theatre – and its people – can have on communities, improving both life opportunities and connections. She is currently at The National Lottery Community Fund, and is enjoying increasing her experience of working with the third sector. She recently joined the board of the Watermill Theatre Trust, and is delighted to have joined BML as a trustee, looking forward to putting her legal and governance experience to good use.
